Tryon Palace Wedding - From the Ground Up for Campbell and Josh's New Bern Wedding!

In the midst of a world pandemic, we are VERY excited to share some beauty with you. We are hugging (or virtually hugging) our loved ones even tighter than before and understanding the true power of community and support.

Campbell and Josh married in their hometown of New Bern, North Carolina on February 22, 2020. Their ceremony was held at Christ Church right in the heart of downtown New Bern with their reception immediately following a few blocks down at Tryon Palace. If you've ever been to or seen Tryon Palace it's a beautiful backdrop to host an event. Since Campbell, Josh, and their families were inviting 500+ of their friends and family, we needed a large area to host them all ... and keep them warm! We built a structure from the ground up which included a clear top Losberger Tent, beautiful gray plank flooring, heat, dazzling chandeliers to illuminate, lush furniture and linens, and much more! Of course, in February in NC you really have no idea what the weather is going to do. We spent all week meticulously constructing the space and within that time, we had rain, 1-2" of snow, and thankfully on the day of the wedding, we had an abundance of sunshine. For as large as the scope of the wedding was, Campbell, Josh, and their families truly made it such a relaxed, easy-going, and enjoyable day for everyone involved! Full of smiles, laughter, and personal touches truly is what made the day feel like Campbell and Josh. Being mostly an Ole Miss crowd, this group certainly knew how to party. Campbell and Josh were introduced from the Palace and lead to the dance floor by Big Swing Band's Second Line - what a way to enter your party! Drinks were flowing, food was plentiful, and the band didn't miss a beat! We sadly had to come to an end with probably one of the largest sparkler exit we've had to date, but it was perfect!

A huge thank you to all our amazing vendors that spent countless hours helping make their day look and run perfectly! A special thank you to Pamela Jahnke Photography and Thomas Blake Films for capturing the beauty inside and out of Campbell and Josh's day!
