Katie and Tim's Winter Durham Wedding
There’s something truly magical about a winter wedding! From snowy backdrops to fur details, we just can’t help but love a winter affair and are so excited to share Katie and Tim’s beautiful January wedding with you today!
Having met and fallen in love on Duke University campus, these two alums knew Durham, North Carolina was the perfect destination to begin their journey as husband and wife. A vision of a formal evening where the best of North Carolina was showcased made historic Duke University Chapel and Bay 7 an easy choice for Katie and Tim. A rich palette of burgundy, bush and champagne transformed Bay 7 from an industrial, former tobacco warehouse into a warm and inviting lounge space where guests sipped on signature drinks while dining on North Carolina classic faire like shrimp and grits. From custom lighting to luxurious furniture to mixed metal accents, each detail of Katie and Tim’s wedding was carefully selected to bring the bride’s dream to life. A slow motion video booth paired with the amazing sounds of TFC Band made for a night full of fun, love and laughter.
