Jess and Mike Glennon's Umstead Wedding

We are very excited to share this stunning wedding with you! Jess and Mike were married this past June at the always beautiful Umstead Hotel and Spa!

Jess and Mike met during their freshmen year at NC State and their love has stood the test of time…through college, a move down south after graduation, and Mike’s growing football career. Some of you may recognize Mike Glennon (he’s hard to miss at 6’7”) as a former quarterback for NC State, and now a quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Go Bucs!

Watered Garden transformed the outdoor ceremony lawn by creating one of the most beautiful structures we’ve ever seen, an arbor covered in fabric and flowers framing the fountain in the background. Jess and Mike made their vows to each other under this beautiful and unique arbor, then the design was carried through down the aisle with white rose petals, draped fabric and florals from chair to chair. If you think this sounds like a fairy-tale, wait until you hear about the ballroom! Themeworks did an amazing job draping the entire ballroom in soft, white, flowing fabric that provided the perfect backdrop for the elegant design of the room. A white dance floor and some soft warm uplighting transformed the space into an elegant dream!

Jess and Mike wanted to make sure their guests had plenty to eat and drink but just as importantly, they wanted to make sure the two of them had a great time dancing the night away. Although Mike claims he has dance moves like his dad (let’s just say, not quite Michael Jackson), you could not get him off the dance floor! The only time you saw Mike and Jess not on the dance floor was when they were having fun in The Turtle Booth (Twenty-One Film’s new Slow-Mo Video Booth). Check out their Turtle Booth video here!
