Mary Hannah and Chris were married this past June in the beautiful historic town of New Bern! They hosted their ceremony at Christ Church of New Bern, which was absolutely breathtaking. The courtyard was dripping in Spanish moss and created the perfect backdrop for their fabulous family photos! Dinner and tons of dancing continued at Tryon Palace with a waterfront view!

It was such a joy working with this extremely kind and talented couple! The entire weekend was perfect; we would like to think that sticking with the great old southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon helped out with regards to the weather.  The truth is that when you had two loving people and a huge support group of family and friends, a great time was in store no matter what the weather was!

We created a classic and cozy look under the reception tent and extended the lounge area out under the stars using market lights. Anne Griggs did an outstanding job with the florals. The two gigantic floral chandeliers inside the tent were jaw-dropping! Mary Hannah and Chris knew they wanted to provide their guests with some local food items along with some comfort food.  Scarborough Fare definitely knocked it out of the park. One of the crowd favorites was the fresh and local oyster shuckin’ station! Yum! After dinner they danced the night away until it was sadly time to say their goodbyes with a sparkler exit!
