Camille and Bryan were married this past May at the beautiful
Umstead Hotel and Spa. Their wedding was nothing short of perfection. The day was the perfect blend of Camille and Bryan’s style and background. French-English Elegance is a great way to describe the overall feel and look of the day. Having lived in France for a few years, Camille knew she wanted to incorporate the beauty and taste that France has to offer, so we went with a neutral palette…all white florals and ivory linens with pops of gold and plum to give some color. Bryan’s love for Sherlock Holmes and music was showcased as well. He chose to wear a traditional English Morning Suit with an Ascot Tie. Bryan really wanted to surprise Camille with the music, and let’s just say he knocked it out of the park. For the ceremony he asked harpist
Winifred Garrett to play during the Processional and then asked Worship Leader
Jimmy Needham to sing one of Camille’s favorite versions of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me” which included a beat-boxing verse as well as a surprise inclusion of Bryan’s groomsmen!
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed upstairs on the Ballroom Terrace for cocktail hour.
Bull City Syndicate filled the space with some jazz style music. The ballroom itself had an overall warm glow with the abundance of candles and soft lounge furniture placed on either side of the dance floor. One of our favorite moments of the reception was during the parent dances. Bryan is an amazing pianist and learned to play both the Father-Daughter dance song, “The Way You Look
Tonight,” and the beginning music of his dance with his mother, “If I Ain’t Got You.” Camille, Bryan, and their guests spent the rest of the evening dancing the night away! We are so thankful they trusted us to be part of their wedding day!
We are blown away by these images from
Caroline Lima! She captured the details and emotion of the day perfectly!
