This sweet couple knows how to throw one heck of a wedding, and we were so excited to be part of it!  Lindsay and Hal originally planned to have a destination wedding in Aruba last September, but with Zika outbreaks in the news they decided it might be best to switch locations and stay closer to home.  After some research, the found the Umstead and decided to take a trip to see what the rave reviews were all about.  You should know what Lindsay and Hal are from up north, and they had no real ties to North Carolina at the start of this adventure.  You can just imagine how excited they were to find themselves in another world down here in the south at The Umstead!

Guests were invited outside to the lush lawn to witness these two love birds say “I Do,” and after the ceremony guests were welcomed into the cocktail hour with tons of mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres. Since all the wedding guests arrived from out of town, incorporating some southern delicacies was a must! Lobster and Sweet Corn Hushpuppies and BBQ were just a couple of the food items used to create those special southern touch. Lindsay and Hal also knew they wanted dancing…lots and lots of dancing…during the reception, and Randy from Bunn DJ nailed it! Randy had everyone up and dancing between each dinner course so they worked up their appetites for the next delicious surprise. It was definitely a night to remember, not only for Lindsay and Hal, but also for their family and friends who were able to celebrate with them!
