Tracy and John’s Fall Botanical Wedding

We are so excited to share John and Tracy’s wedding with you! This couple has been near and dear to our hearts since 2013, when John reached out to us for help planning a surprise proposal to Tracy! You can check out their proposal story here 🙂

John and Tracy decided to host their wedding at the beautiful NC Botanical Gardens in September last year with their closest friends and family surrounding them. You would have never known by the images below, but on the morning of their big day the weather forecasters were calling for rain in the area. Many people say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day, but John and Tracy didn’t need to test that myth. They had all the luck in the world and the most spectacular weather for their day! We hosted the ceremony outdoors within the gardens. The beautiful natural elements were the perfect backdrop for their custom arbor designed and made by Embellished Blooms. Tracy wanted to play up the fall colors, so we incorporated vibrant oranges, yellows, and purples. One touch we absolutely loved was that John included the talented musicians from Save the Date who played when he proposed to Tracy!

After the ceremony, guests were treated to dinner and dancing. Durham Catering provided delicious hors d’oeuvres and a very special dinner buffet. The real party started after dinner, when everyone showed off their dance moves thanks to the amazing DJ Randy!

Congratulations Tracy and John, and thank you so much for allowing us to be part of both these big moments in your lives! We can’t wait to see where this journey takes you!
