Since they met in North Carolina and fell in love here too, Lisa and Matt never doubted that The Carolina Inn was the perfect location to exchange their vows. This sweet couple envisioned an intimate celebration where their closest family and friends could share in their joy and also have the opportunity to explore North Carolina, one of the places they love most! Each and every detail of their day was carefully thought out – from Lisa wearing her grandmother’s veil to her father officiating their ceremony – Lisa and Matt’s day was filled with heartfelt, personal touches that truly made their day unforgettable.
Using a watercolor palette as inspiration, soft hues of blush, lavender and blue paired with metallics transformed the ceremony and reception space into a French country chic affair. Lush blooms, custom stationery and candlelight brought Lisa and Matt’s vision to life and made for a beautiful evening. A delicious three course meal followed by an assortment of pies from Scratch (the couple’s favorite Durham eatery! )left guests feeling happy and ready to dance! Frank of Bunn DJ Company kept the dance floor packed all night long with only a short break for a delicious late night snack of sliders and fries!
We are so thankful we were able to share in such a fabulous day for a great couple! Thanks to the amazing team of vendors who helped make Lisa and Matt’s day one to remember! We hope you enjoy these amazing images of their day from Richard Barlow Photography and their breathtaking wedding video from Almond Leaf.
