We are very pleased to share Lauren and Taylor’s breathtaking winter wedding with you! They were married this past December in Rocky Mount. Their ceremony was held at First United Methodist (Taylor’s childhood church) and their reception was held at the beautiful Rose Hill Plantation.
You normally think of cold weather (and maybe even snow) when you mention a December wedding, but it was just the opposite for Lauren and Taylor’s day! The sun was shining so brightly it kept the wedding party warm while the “getting ready” pictures were taken at Rose Hill, and the sky was the perfect shade of blue! The entire day was packed with laughter and love. Lauren and Taylor had lots of friends and family in attendance for the wedding so they knew they wanted it to be a fun event for everyone.
After their sweet and personal ceremony, guests were invited for a cocktail style dinner and dancing over at Rose Hill Plantation. They were greeted by a path of luminarias leading all the way up to the front doors of the reception hall. The ballroom was covered with beautiful flowers and tons of candles to make the room feel warm. Gold linens covered the tables which made for a perfect winter setting.
Throughout the entire day, Lauren and Taylor made sure they incorporated their entire family. After their first dance with each other and their dances with their parents, they said the sweetest “thank you” to their entire family. Then to really top it off, they had a special dance planned for both sets of parents as they were both celebrating 40 years of marriage! The party really took off afterward and Soul Expressions Band was absolutely unbelievable. They interacted with the crowd and even got the entire bridal party on stage (including Lauren’s mom and dad)! It was the perfect night to remember. The evening ended with all their guests lined up to see the newly married couple off with a classic sparkler exit!
Thank you Lauren and Taylor for being such an amazing couple to work with! Also, a big thank you to both of your families for allowing us to be part of such a special time in all of your lives!
Benz Productions did an amazing job on their highlight video! Be sure to take a look!
