We are thrilled to share this beautiful and romantic wedding with you! Jeana and Dan were married this past November in the heart of downtown Raleigh. We loved working with them; you could feel the love between the two of them, which made every step of the planning process fun for us!
Their ceremony and reception was held at The Stockroom at 230. Jeana and Dan had a Jewish ceremony; they wanted to create a very intimate space underneath the Chuppah, but still wanted their family and guests to feel involved. In order to achieve this, we placed the Chuppah in the center of The Stockroom and arched the chairs around the sides. This allowed the guests a view inside the Chuppah no matter where they were sitting, and made for a very unique setting. To make the ceremony even more personal, Dan and Jeana asked Dan’s father to perform the ceremony. They also involved their mothers by having them light a unity candle. English Garden and Themeworks did an amazing job decorating the ceremony area. English Garden covered the handmade, white draped Chuppah in lush white flowers. Themeworks hung a delicate chandelier over the center of the Chuppah, and added twinkling market lights extending out from the center. It was stunning!
After the ceremony, guests were asked to make their way next door to The Mahler Fine Art Gallery for cocktail hour. The spectacular staff at Empire Eats helped us flip the ceremony space and we transformed it into the perfect setting for guests to enjoy a delicious dinner and nonstop dancing!
A big thank you to Jeana and Dan for being such a wonderful couple to work with, and allowing A Southern Soiree to be part of your perfect day! Thank you for also writing this wonderful review on Google:
My husband and I had the most wonderful experience working with Gina at A Southern Soiree! From our initial phone consultation all the way to the day of our wedding and after our honeymoon, Gina has been professional, responsive (very important!) and friendly! Our wedding ceremony and reception was held at The Stockroom 230 in downtown Raleigh with our cocktail hour held in the same building but on the 1st floor at The Mahler Fine Art Gallery. Given that we had 150 guests in attendance, there were a lot of people Gina had to shuffle around as well as coordinate with vendors the perfect “flip” of the room from a ceremony to sit down dinner reception. Everything went off without a hitch!! We are more than pleased with her services and wish we could do it all over again 🙂 We would highly recommend not only hiring a wedding coordinator but specifically, A Southern Soiree!!
Also, thank you Cara with f8 Photo Studios for capturing the beauty of the day and the love between Jeana and Dan!
