Sarah and Jonathan were married last month at Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville, NC.  The bridal party started off the big day getting ready in the beautiful house at Rose Hill.  Sarah provided her attendants with a lovely floral robe to wear while getting their hair and makeup done, and Jonathan and his groomsmen relaxed in the ‘man’s’ den while playing pool.

It was the perfect day for Sarah and Jonathan’s outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake, and they had a really unique guest book idea.  They selected a special “wishing” stone, and as guests arrived they were welcomed by Jonathan’s groomsmen and asked to write a personal message on the stone, giving Sarah and Jonathan their best marriage advice.  Justin Hoke, the guitarist, played beautiful prelude music as guests continued to the ceremony site to find their seats.  Sarah and Jonathan spoke their vows under the gazebo, which was beautifully dressed by English Garden.  After the ceremony, guests were able to enjoy the beautiful weather outside during the cocktail hour on the patio of Nathan Hall.

The ballroom was filled with personal touches from Sarah and Jonathan.  Instead of simple table numbers, Sarah and Jonathan named each table after famous television and movie couples.  They also provided a different take on the candy bar concept; they filled the center of the room with a large gold tree and placed the jars of delicious candy all around the bottom. It was truly a statement piece for the room!
