Delaina and Juan were an absolute joy to work with throughout their planning process! They are both active duty military. Delaina was actually out of the country for some of the planning, but was able to get the majority of decisions made before leaving (she’s amazing!). We worked closely with her mother to pull together the final details and everything turned out perfectly for them!
Their wedding was held this past January at the beautiful State Club with their closest family and friends. Delaina incorporated many unique details into the wedding to make the day personal for her and Juan. She actually handmade all of the boutonnieres and corsages for the groomsmen and the fathers and mothers, and even made a bouquet out of fabric to give to her grandmother! She and her ladies carried clutches, which was a very fun touch! We love that the bridesmaids (her sisters) will have the clutches from that day to always treasure. Delaina also wanted to bring the outdoors inside to create a winter wonderland and Blossom Floral Artistry made her dream a reality- it was stunning!
They incorporated a few activities throughout the evening to keep their guests entertained, but our favorite of all was when salsa dancers joined the party! The dancers performed after toasts and then taught a quick routine to the guests – it was a huge hit! Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Delaina and Juan chose cake shooters and gelato and everyone continued to go back for seconds!
It was an honor to be a part of the wonderful wedding, and we can’t thank them enough for giving us the opportunity! Thank you to Christobal with Azul Photography for the amazing images of the day!
