Nexus Global Corporate Holiday Event at Bay 7

We were thrilled to help plan the Nexus Global holiday event again! This year we held the event at Bay 7 in Durham. It was the perfect space for our secret theme. All the employees knew something big was in store for them (based on the last year’s event) but we tried to keep it as much of a mystery as possible. What was it, you ask? The theme was Cirque, and it was a showstopper!

Once again, Nexus Global employees flew in from all over the world to share in the celebration of another great year. As the guests entered Bay 7 they were welcomed by one of Elevate’s VERY talented girls hanging from a chandelier pouring champagne into a signature Cotton Candy Martini. There were two amazing aerialists performing on silk ropes and interacting with the guests. Along with Elevate’s performers, The Dickens Band kept the party going again this year! And there was one act we definitely had to bring back this year…the incredible magician, Joshua Lozoff! He blew the minds of the guests by making things appear…and disappear, out of thin air! An elaborate candy bar display and a caricature artist also kept the guests busy throughout the night! No matter what country these employees travel from to get here, they always come together for great music and a fabulous time!

Angus Barn did an amazing job creating the most delicious food stations. They really gave everyone a great sense of Southern Comfort food – Beef Tenderloin, Pork Ribs, Mac and Cheese! They even provided a late night snack…a cheeseburger with chips and a mini-bottle of Coca-Cola, for guests to take with them on the ride home. That was a huge hit!
