Aimee and Adam’s Atlantic Beach Wedding!

We are so excited to share Aimee and Adam’s wedding with you! The talented Cynthia Rose captured the feel of their wedding perfectly! The images are amazing and you will notice that we had a difficult time selecting just a few to share (we have MANY favorites)!

We began working with Aimee and Adam at the beginning of this year and they came to us knowing that the beach was the perfect spot for them to say “I do!” Their wedding was held on a gorgeous September day at the beautiful Coral Bay Club in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. The outdoor ceremony was held at a spot overlooking the ocean in the background; they could not have asked for a more stunning scene! Aimee and Adam both glowed the entire day and the photos show it!

Aimee and Adam wanted their decor to showcase the beauty of the beach while keeping it simple in style, so we incorporated various sea shells, lanterns, and burlap runners to pull the look together. The most beautiful and unique part of their decor was the oyster garland that Aimee’s parents made for them and that we placed on their head table. It was absolutely stunning and they plan to reuse it on their fireplace mantle at home!

The photos do a great job of telling the story of the day; wish we had some audio to share with you too! Their band- The Vistas– did an AMAZING job keeping the party going all night long! The guests absolutely loved them!

When two of our daughters announced their engagement within one month of each other and wedding dates within 9 months of each other, my husband and I knew we needed a wedding planner! We met with Kailey, at A Southern Soiree and knew immediately that Aimee and Adam and Pam and Wesley would have the wedding day of their dreams! Kailey is a delight to work with…very professional, flexible, detail oriented,extremely organized, creative and has a gentle way of “reining” us in when we get too far off our budget!
Aimee and Adam had a gorgeous destination wedding! Kailey handled everything with such ease…coordinated all the vendors…scheduled “day trip” meetings (we had such fun on these trips!) and Skype meetings…negotiated contracts and deposits…scheduled tastings…blocked hotel rooms….secured necessary permits…created a timeline for the wedding weekend and took wonderful care of our family and every detail you could ever imagine. Dan and I did not miss one single moment of the weekend, we got to see it all and have beautiful memories. We never once worried about anything not even the weather because Kailey had a smooth backup plan ready to roll if necessary !
Pam and Wesley are looking forward to their June wedding and Kailey has never skipped a beat keeping us on schedule, coordinating our meetings with the vendors and creating what we know will be another amazing and memorable wedding…to be continued!!
