Caroline and Bobby were married this past June at
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with dinner and dancing at Caroline’s parents’ home in Durham. Although the week leading up to the wedding was full of storms and flooding, we did not let this stand in our way. The wedding day itself was beautiful; the rainy streak ended and the sun broke through the clouds shining down on this wonderful couple! The setting was fabulous! We helped out Mother Nature a little by spending the morning putting down mulch to soak up the wet ground, and the wedding was the perfect mix of down home southern feel and elegance all rolled into one!
The entire day was filled with emotion, and who better to spend it with than with your closest friends and family? Caroline made sure every part of this wedding had a special meaning, right down to the dinner plates which were a mixture of family antique plates and new ones they collected for the occasion. One of my favorite parts of this wedding was the newly constructed barn for dancing. Her dad specifically built it for the wedding (well…maybe he needed it for extra work space too, but it was perfect nonetheless)!
Thank you Caroline and Bobby (and your entire family) for letting me be a part of your special day!
