Kim and Richard were married in April of this year at Brier Creek Country Club. I worked with Kim and her mom for nineteen months planning the couple’s perfect day, and we had so much fun through every step. Kim had a vision from day one, and we went to work on making that vision a reality. Kim wanted a very special look for Brier Creek, with white draping covering the ceiling and walls inside the reception space. This was a first for Brier Creek, but it created such a polished and beautiful look that we’re betting it won’t be the last! Kim was a very organized yet very laid back bride. We made a perfect team and I truly enjoyed every minute of working with her. Kim and I shared a special bond of having both lost our dads too young, and I thought it was very touching to see her grandfather walk her down the aisle.
The Cigar Bar and Candy Bar were just two of the many fun details for this wedding. There was also a photobooth that kept the guests entertained the whole evening. One of my favorite moments was when Kim walked into the reception after dinner with Ramses (The UNC mascot) and surprised all the guests. Ramses hammed it up on the dance floor taking pictures with all the guests! He even got in the photobooth! Overall, it was a fabulous day from start to finish!

Thank you Kim and Richard for letting us be a part of your special day and thank you so much for writing this review:
I will never be able to put into words the amazing job Megan and Gina did planning our wedding in April 2013. I like to call them my wedding angels. They have stood by my side and helped me through making all the decisions that may drive a bride to a bridezilla moment : ) these are two of the most organized people I have ever met. From the first time I sent A Southern Soiree an email when I got engaged in August 2011 (Megan responded back to wish me a big congrats within an hour) and communication hasnβt stopped flowing. This group of ladies are professional, timely, knowledgeable, supportive, experienced, and the list could go on. My family and friends have not stopped raving about how wonderful these ladies are and the remarkable job they did on my wedding. A+ wedding planners! I’m already thinking of the next party I can have Megan and Gina plan!!
