Nexus Global Holiday Party!

I am so excited to share the details and photos from our amazing holiday party for Nexus Global from January at Fearrington Village. Their employees came from all over the world to celebrate together. Little did they know what kinds of surprises were in store for them!

Nothing says surprise quite like the ‘waiters’ suddenly breaking out into a dance, and twirling their trays around over their head! The dancers from Elevate in Raleigh did an amazing job posing as the Fearrington waitstaff, pouring water and attending to the guests at their tables until they received their cue to start dancing. The guests didn’t actually know what hit them until all the dancers ended up at the front of the room in a fabulous choreographed routine. It was definitely one of my favorite moments of the night!

The surprises didn’t stop there. There was one “special” guest who most employees didn’t recognize. That “guest” successfully introduced himself as an employee in training to some of the other guests, or just simply a “plus one” to others. Little did they know this man was actually a comedian brought in to tell jokes and entertain them.

I know you must be thinking … “How can you top flash mob dancers AND a comedian?” How about adding a magician? Joshua Lozoff truly blew guests minds by making coins magically appear and making bottlecaps end up INSIDE the bottles. He even turned two cards into one!

The night continued with some great entertainment from The Dickens band out of Greensboro. They really knew how the keep the guests out on the floor and moving.
