A little about Kim:

Kim was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in August of 2008, at the age of 23 with no prior family history of breast cancer.

Kim fought hard for almost three years, and her positive attitude has inspired many.  Sadly, on April 28, 2011, Kim lost her fight with breast cancer.  While she may be gone, she is not forgotten as we come together to continue the fight to find cure for breast cancer.

All proceeds will be donated to 1in9, a breast cancer charity that works closely with UNC’s Comprehensive Cancer Center to help women who are currently in treatment but lack the means necessary to continue it.  Whether it’s transportation, food, or lodging while they are at UNC, 1in9 gives these women the support group that they don’t have but desperately need.  If there was one thing that Kim was always in awe of, it was the amount of support she had from her church, her friends, her family.  We want to pass that on to others.

We want to thank some awesome vendor friends that have donated to the cause! Thank you Bella Monica, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Busy Bee, One HopeShutterbooth, CE Rental, English Garden, and McSound Productions!  Hope to see you there!
