Emily and Ben were married on August 6th at the beautiful First United Methodist Church and they had their reception at the Historic Train Depot, both located in Salisbury, North Carolina. This wedding was very exciting to plan because it was being held in my hometown! I first met Emily and her mother, Linne’, back in the spring of 2011 and they were so fun to be around…they always made me laugh!
Emily really wanted to focus on the overall look of the reception. She wanted the vintage, shabby chic look and I was happy to make her dream a reality! The reception was absolutely gorgeous! There were so many inspiring details that I just can’t get enough of! Just take a look at the photos to see for yourself! Simply beautiful.
Below are some of my favorite photographs from Katy Cook. I had not worked with Katy until this wedding, but she did an amazing job! I am excited to work with her again in the future!
Congratulations Emily and Ben! Thank you for allowing A Southern Soiree to be a part of your big day!
