Suzanne from Holly Springs asks, How many places should we register?

This is a question that our brides ask us all the time!  The answer is, it’s your wedding, you can do whatever you want!  However, we recommend keeping the list to a maximum of four stores. It is very considerate of you to register at more than one location because it gives your guests a choice of where to shop. I also recommend that with each registry you choose a variety of items within different price ranges.  Guests will be happy to know that they have many options to choose from!  Don’t be afraid to register for that $300, $500, or $1000 item either if it’s something you really want or need.  You never know, a bunch of people might go in on it together.

Also, keep in mind that there are now so many alternative ways to register. For example, you can now register for a down payment on your first home or even for your honeymoon. If you’ve been living together for awhile, you may have everything you need for the house, but maybe you want an excursion on your honeymoon. A great website for this is Honeyfund.
