Lauren and Mike were married at the beginning of October on Bald Head Island and I felt incredibly blessed to be working with such a wonderful couple. They met in NC and both love the beach so they thought the island would be a perfect place to tie the knot! Lauren and Mike live in West Virginia, so we did lots of planning from afar, but everything turned out beautifully. The colors for this wedding were rich reds, browns and golds and we used lots of capiz shells throughout the wedding to being in the beachy feel.
The island is absolutely beautiful but it takes alot of patience to do events there! Especially with this wedding since the island was hit with torrential rains a few days before the wedding and alot of the island was flooded. Flooded roads plus golf carts equals lots of stalled carts! Anyways we made it through, even though I was swimming in the flood waters at one point with all the DJ equipment, feel free to ask anytime for more details on that part of the wedding, it’s a great story!
Our fabulous photographer for this wedding was Courtney Aliah. This was my first time working with Courtney, but she was absolutely fabulous and as you can tell from the images, she is great at what she does! Enjoy!

It was an absolutely beautiful day for a beach wedding as you can tell as Lauren's dad walks her down the aisle.

I had to get a pic of that! By the way, this was my second dress of the day thanks to my flood water swim!
