Zebrina and Chad were married at the Preston Woodall House in Benson, NC the first weekend in August. I love Preston Woodall because it has so much character plus they have tons of places for your guests to stay, so all your family and friends can be near you! That is what drew Zebrina and Chad to the house, they really wanted to focus on family and friends during their wedding weekend.
Red was the main palette for their wedding and Zebrina wanted to also include some Asian touches. It was very warm, so we provided red parasols for guests along with fans to help them stay cool. As you can see in the gorgeous images by April of Evoke Photography, the parasols make great photo ops too! April was so much fun to work with on this wedding, we didn’t stop laughing even as we were melting in the heat! After a very emotional ceremony, guests headed into the house for the cocktail hour while we finished up photos. This group was alot of fun and were up for almost anything!
After dinner, the couple were toasted by friends and family who had some of the most heartfelt and touching words to say about Zebrina and Chad that I have heard in a long time. After all the serious stuff :), the partying began! Guests enjoyed yummy cupcakes in multiple flavors from Sugarland in Chapel Hill, instead of the traditional wedding cake. These cupcakes were great because they each had a surprise filling. So yummy! After lots of dancing, including a choreographed version of Madonna’s “Vogue”, the newlyweds departed to one of the neighboring cottages in a shower of sparklers.
These two are a fabulous couple and were so much fun to work with! Congrats Mr and Mrs Warner!
