Nikki and Billy were married at Wakefield Plantation on June 14th. They were a fabulous couple with amazing, let me repeat, amazing families! Nikki’s mom, Carol, booked me last year, while Nikki was in Florida finishing school and we clicked instantly. After Nikki finished school, the 3 of us went on a whirlwind wedding planning tour (with lots of laughs) and created a beautiful event that I know I will remember for a very long time! They are definitely one of my most favorite families!

Green was our main color for Nikki and Billy’s wedding and we couldn’t have picked a greener backdrop for their ceremony! Wakefield keeps their greens immaculate and the view was breathtaking. Fresh Affairs created a gorgeous altar with flowing fabric and amazing florals for the couple to say their vows under. Sherri with Florian Music provided our ceremony music. Never underestimate the solo violin. It was beautiful! One of my favorite things about Wakefield is the golf cart service. They have the cutest limo cart that takes the bride and groom away, it’s a great photo op!

After the ceremony, guests went into the clubhouse while we had some fun with photos! Cara with F8 Photo Studios was our photographer and I just can’t say enough about her. She is so much fun and I never stop laughing whenever I am with her! Not to mention her photos are amazing. Just look at the one with Nikki and Billy in the field, gorgeous! After all the photos were done we headed up to the reception where Nikki and Billy started off the evening with their first dance, followed by a tear filled father/daughter and mother/son dance. Right after, guests took their seats for a delicious dinner (the chicken was to die for!) and some yummy cake from Sweet Memories. I always know the cake will be a hit when Sweet Memories is involved, and it really was! As guests entered the room, you could hear a collective gasp. Fresh Affairs had created a beautifully candlelit room with green linens and varying heights of flowers and floating candles. The head table was in the center of the room and draped with a black linen to make it stand out. Absolutely gorgeous! After dinner the band, White Chocolate, got the crowd on the their feet! They played some of my favorite 80’s and 90’s songs and even learned Billy’s favorite song “Hey Ya”. They were wonderful!

Nikki and Billy wanted to leave in style, so they took off in the antique Bentley from Capital Style. But, they couldn’t leave without running through a shower of sparklers! This could have been the participation record for sparkler departures. Almost all their guests were still there to see the newlyweds off! Congrats Nikki and Billy!
