Audrey and Chris were married this past weekend at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, NC. For those of you who don’t know, this Vineyard is owned by Richard Childress of NASCAR fame. If you have never been there, you must visit, it is absolutely gorgeous! Back to Audrey and Chris. They are another couple that I have worked with for over a year and a half and I was sad to see them go! They are such a gorgeous couple, straight out of a bridal magazine.

Audrey and Chris wanted to get married as the sun set over the Vineyard and their 7 pm ceremony went off without a hitch! Instead of walking down the aisle, Audrey actually came from down from the stairs, it was such a beautiful sight. Green and brown were the signature colors for their wedding and everything fit so well with all the natural surroundings.

After the ceremony, Audrey and Chris surprised their guests to a choreographed first dance that was so cute, everyone loved it! I definitely recommend doing this, it’s such a nice treat for your guests. Audrey loves sweets (one of the many reasons we got along so well!) so the whole reception was overflowing with yummy goodies. In addition to a great wedding cake, Toria Gales Bakery made mini key lime pies, cookies, mini cheesecakes, eclairs, creme puffs, truffles, and an amazing groom’s cake that was made to look just like Chris’s law books. And they had my favorite Krispy Kreme doughnuts, which are always a hit at weddings. Another fun touch was their signature cocktail, called The Grape. It was champagne with white grape juice and a frozen grape. It was delicious!

Overall it was a great event, with a fabulous couple! I have to thank our awesome photographer, Jessica Yakamna, for taking all the great photos. She actually had all the photos up on her computer at the end of the evening for Chris and Audrey to check out, it was great! Congrats Chris and Audrey!
